Los Angeles based singer / songwriter Alex Shera has released his instantly infectious single 'Blue Nights'.
Alex was crushing on a boy, who was crushing on a girl, and they were all friends. That was the catalyst of this track. He approaches his well-groomed style of pop with a specific theme which depicts the pathology of fame, love, heartbreak and its cure - finding your true self. With luscious vocals against an electro-pop backdrop, 'Blue Nights' gives off gorgeous, cinematic vibes and captivates it's listeners from the first beat.
He says on the track,
“The song explores the tug of war between heart and mind, that situation where you doubt yourself and then almost enjoy the feeling—or temptation—of not knowing what the other person is really thinking and if they will make a move or not. At the end of the night, I would end up alone with my thoughts and feelings and it's almost like being addicted to that lonely deep blue feeling of love never gained but never lost.”
Alex Shera moved to LA at just 17 and broke into the celebrity styling world, eventually building a client roster that included Marshmello, Jack & Jack, Pia Mia, Cody Simpson, TYGA, Zara Larsson and other celebrities in the entertainment world. Now, he brings his deep seeded passion for music to the surface. Growing up in San Diego, his passion for creativity blossomed and he found himself with a strong desire to immerse himself into the fashion and entertainment world. Hollywood's pop culture scene inspired the way in which Alex put pen to paper, creating a world built for dreamers and romanticising the souls that lost their way.
Remaining excited for the rest of this year, Alex is spending more time in the studio, working with a number of producers and writers.
