Following on from his critically-acclaimed EP 'Hidden Figures', French DJ & producer Axmod has teamed up with multi-talented singer Mark Asari to drop one of the punchiest dance records of the year to date, via Sidekick Music.
A commercial dance banger, ready made for radio play and summer holidays fuses a electronic dance groove with powerful beats and melodic production. Axmod takes listeners on a true emotional journey, orchestrated with grandeur. The track is fuelled by the incredible vocal talent of British singer Mark Asari, who you may know from taking part in UK talent show 'The Voice UK' and has also worked as a vocal producer and written for artists such as Ariana Grande, Craig David and Tinie Tempah.
"This song came about during the first ever lockdown, where a lot of us found ourselves isolated from loved ones. ‘Where you are’ compares the situation to being lost as sea, and in the moment things."
Parisian-born Axmod, real name Foucault Jannin, is undoubtedly one of the most exciting up-and-coming producers to come out of the French music scene in recent years.
