Bamily | Oh Damn

Brixton based band Bamily continue to put their own irresistible stamp on the indie circuit with new single 'Oh Damn' following the release of their debut EP ‘Family With A B’ earlier this year.

The indie pop track oozes a catchy bassline and even catchier vocals, the lyrics exploring the notion that not everything goes to plan but to hold tight and know things will get better. It's focused and fresh with a banging melody. The vibrant and polished sound is just what we've been missing, and 'Oh Damn' is a totally captivating smash hit.

Speaking on the track, band-member Benjy said:

"I wanted to write something about that feeling of being swallowed. That feeling of thinking you’re totally alone and like you don’t have anyone there for you. Hopefully this tune will let you know that everybody gets like that, maybe you’re not alone and sometimes you just gotta say oh damn and face everything being shit for a bit, dance in the rain and then it can get better."

Having featured in BBC Radio 1's coveted 'Next Wave' slot earlier this year and citing influences such as Phoenix, Mac Demarco and Glass Animals, the four piece are naturally gifted performers with a unique and energetic live set up who have been making music together for several years.

Bamily are every inch the modern indie prospect built for the instagram-age.
