Big Society | Why Are You So Afraid To Dance

Manchester based 4- piece Big Society have released their intoxicating new single 'Why Are You So Afraid To Dance', which forms part of their upcoming debut EP set for release later this year.

'WAYSATD' is rhythmic and ladened with glittery synths reminiscent of 80's pop, whilst keeping that fresh new indie sound that everyone loves with fresh guitar riffs and superb vocals. The production is layered and sublime with cleverly written lyrics, recorded in the countryside of Worcestershire with producer / engineers David Coyle and Seadna McPahil.

The track is a unification of punch drunk melody and nervous adolescence and speaks to the daft loneliness of teenage life and exploring what is usually outside of your comfort zone. It comes after the bands previous 2020 single 'Feel' and 2019 releases 'Marine Club Party' and 'Give Me My Name'.

Since forming, Big Society are making waves with festival appearances at the likes of Live At Leeds, The Great Escape and Hit The North.
