Both catchy and relatable 'kitchen floor' is lyrically inspired by the emotional consequences of a drunken fight and what can happen when a little bit too much of the truth has been spilled. A gorgeous fusion of warm R&B, soft indie and cool electronica, the track is both uptempo and easy listening with rich beats and a powerful drive paired with engaging and passionate vocals from clide. He shows off his versatility and vulnerability with heart-on-sleeve lyricism and a sound that hints towards a slightly more punk and emo influence. And now being German-based, clide has been nominated for the New Music Award by Germany’s biggest radio stations.
