Daniel Saint Black released his new single,'Electric', cut from his sophomore EP, due in Autumn 2020.
'Electric' marks a new turn, sonically for Daniel. His previous work has always been very mellow and singer/songwriter focused, but 'Electric' sees him dipping his toe into upbeat, electro-pop waters for the first time. The new production valve is slick and funky, whilst maintaining a cinematic feel.
Daniel's vocals carry a relaxed feel to this summery track with a unique and gritty tone, the melodies are on point and the track is a lyrical beauty pairing perfectly with modern takes on old-school production.
Self-titled debut EP was released in April, and has since racked up over 1 million streams across platforms, with the help of organic play listing from Spotify's New Music Friday as well as Apple Music features. Citing some of his biggest musical inspirations as Tom Petty and Harry Styles, their influences really show in his work.
