Musical project of brothers Abner and Harper James, also known as Eighty Ninety have released their track 'Happier', coming as the first of a set of tracks recorded with Grammy-nominated producer Gian Stone.
Exploring the themes of loneliness and loss, love and hope, 'Happier' is a light indie pop sensation, with beautiful acoustic guitars, blissful vocals and brilliant lyrics. It's melodic and gentle, minimalist and dreamy, and made for easy listening.
The band say,
“There are so many people we love and miss that we can't be with, and a lot of late night calls to try and bridge that distance. We all want the best for the people we love. Sometimes, that means letting each other go. ‘Happier’ is about wanting to hold on for just a little bit longer.”
Breaking onto the scene in 2016 with their debut single 'Three Thirty', which hit No 2 on Spotify's Global Viral Charts, Eighty Ninety have garnered over 25 million streams and are cementing themselves into their unique brand of charming and euphonious indie pop.
