Emily Vu has released her new single ‘Just Wait’ along with a sprightly visual.
The track boasts atmospheric beats overladen by soothing synths with the song’s lyrics talking about the vulnerability at the start of a new relationship.
Emily says on the track,
“It’s about being aware of how susceptible I am to love and how being in love or just starting to get to know someone is a very vulnerable thing for me. I’m asking for them to wait for me and just trust the process”
At just eighteen years old, the pop prodigy has amassed over 1.4 million TikTok followers and over 4 million streams on Spotify. A newcomer just now, perhaps, but mainstream success is within reach for this SoCal native.
