Melbourne based producer and songwriter Matt Connelly, better known as Future Strangers has released his nostalgic brit-pop inspired bop 'Shania Twain'.
'Shania Twain' is soaked in 80's nostalgia with the most fresh production. The track is cleverly written with awesome guitars and a indie pop feel. Matt's vocal is current with a superb range and tone, making the track catchy and highly listenable - we can't stop listening!
Lyrically, 'Shania Twain reflects on the realities of growing up and facing past disappointments, whether it be a failed relationship or forgotten aspirations. The title comes from Matt's childhood, where his mother's favourite artist was Shania Twain and is the first official single to be taken from his self-titled EP, due for release later this year.
"That line hints at a time when everything was more simple."
