Emrah Karaduman is excited to release his new electro house track 'Back to You' which reflects his complicated mood in the pandemic.

We had the chance to speak with Emrah on the new release and more...

Introduce yourself and tell us a bit about you!

"Hello, I’m producer Emrah Karaduman who was born in Samsun, Turkey. I moved to İstanbul to

improve myself and my works in my twenty's then I got attention in a short time by giving songs to the artists. After making my first album in 2015, I started going on the stage to DJ. Generally, I spend most of my time making music at home."

Where are you from and what’s your favorite thing about the place?

"I am a Turkish from Samsun; my friendships and the historical texture of the Samsun have always been a source of inspiration for me. The fact that Samsun has hosted thousands of years of civilizations and this texture has been preserved for centuries has created my music."

Who are your biggest inspirations?

"The guys who created the music I listened to when I was growing up and today, I am excited about the work inspired by the music of these people."

How would you describe your sound in a sentence?

"Like the sound design of the time machine, sometimes we go to a moment 20 years ago, sometimes to a fantasy world."

Who would be your dream collaboration?

"With many world stars, there may even be those who are not alive now, like Mozart, Beethoven ..."

What’s been your standout moment so far?

My 'Cevapsız Çınlama' video is currently the most viewed Turkish song with 512 million views. That's why some of my friends call me “walking Turkish pop”, there is a 'T-Pop' style in the world now thanks to this video. Because there is no country left that has not made a reaction video to this video."

You’ve just released your new track ‘Back to You! Tell us a little about it!

"The combined state of my mixed mood during the pandemic period, sometimes fidgety, full of hope, sometimes dispiritedness."

Do you have a favourite part of the track?

"I love every part, but the drop part is exciting…"

What are your plans for 2021?

If the pandemic ends towards the summer, I have a concert tour plan, I want to go to all countries & cities, as much as I can."
