Josha Daniel has released his incredible album 'Dream of You' via Enroute Records.
The album, which is his full-length debut, contains a fascinating combination, injecting a blend of 80's influences, analog synthesisers and pop inspired melodies. The album boasts his musical talent and versatility as an accomplished singer, producer and instrumentalist - all three becoming very apparent as the album plays through.
Josha Daniel lets the synths and keyboards shine, often throwing in electric guitar for tracks like 'Room For Error'. Dreamy synth-bears are straight but organic, creating the perfect fusion of indie-rock, alt-pop and indietronica. Title-track 'Dream of You' throws in yet another element - a gritty and raw vocal performance against a blissful hook and catchy chord progressions and has already surpassed more than half a million streams and radio support worldwide.
He says,
"To me, writing songs feels like an escape into another world. It’s like a dream to me and it feels like the connection between my future and my past. It feels like a lot of hard work over the years have finally come to fruition."
Josha is renowned for his mesmerising vocals and for being the former centrepiece of popular Dutch band Silent War. Uncovering his passion for producing, he is moving forward as a solo artist in his own right - with the album proving exactly why he is on an upward trajectory. The collection of tracks is sure to be adored by not only electronic music lovers, but also indie and pop fans alike. His unique sound and style is modern and contemporary, whilst paying homage to 80's synth-pop, inspired by the likes of M83 and Foals.
'Dream Of You' is out now.
