Welcome back to Just Discovered, where we introduce you to our new favourite artists and bands that have caught our eyes and ears this week...
CALEB PETERS
First up this week is 16 year old Caleb Peters. His newest track 'Carousel' was released on May 1st and was just featured on New Music Friday on Spotify.
It is about having a relationship with some one where you know you feel the same but you can never seem to make it work. You wish everything would just work out like you both want it to, but it’s never that simple. it’s kinda explaining the feeling where you’ve run out of patience and all you want to do is love this person but you can’t.

VALENCIA JAMES
Next up is New York born and Sydney bred dark-pop artist Valencia James who makes music for those in need.
With a catalogue of songs inspired by real life events, Valencia is on a mission to give listeners something real, organic and true.
She returned with her brand new single 'Ebb & Flow' fresh off her debut EP Light & Shade released on March 27th, 2020 - a song glittered with edgy synths and energetic vocals, it's about how we ride out the waves of life.
She explains:
"No matter what, I’m going to live and take risks for a better future rather than playing it safe. Life is always going to throw you curveballs, but it’s all about how you handle them and keep moving forward."

SHADI G
Shadi G is a Swedish songwriter, producer and singer. A soulful voice and unique RnB/Soul sound, she is a new artist but already carving out a clear space in her field and striking the attention of some of Swedens biggest music magazines.
Being schooled in classical music from a young age, growing up with music all from jazz, RnB, soul, hip hop to Persian music, where she has her roots, Shadi is crossing borders with her own soulful sound, both in style and language.
Straight after high school she went off to London to learn music production and in 2016 she released her debut single
“Lost”, which got her on to some of Swedens biggest playlists. In 2017 she started her own record label, Goldamin Records, from which the second single 'Where We Go' was
released.
On March 27th this year, Shadi released single 'Wrong Kind'. The song touches upon the matter of being in a relationship where the other person thinks they know what you need, and has a lot to say about it. It is about the power of listening to yourself and knowing exactly what it is you need. And the freedom that comes when you get it.

EVERY LIVING SOUL
Michael Rosenfield formed Every Living Soul in 2009. To him, it’s been an evolution, an inspiration, an ever-changing journey.
One of our favourite track is taken from the release of 'Anonymous' back in January. The track is 'Breath Away' (feat. Julia Ross).

CH!NWE
Last on our radar is Ch!nwe, a Nigerian-American fusion artist from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Ch!nwe began his music career as a producer and engineer in 2016, producing for local artist building his own sound. He started to shift his focus as an artist in 2019 when he signed to the Ozone Creations Afro-Fusion Label in 2019.
He also has a passion for curating the right energy despite the situation as he leans towards creating R&B/TrapSoul.
'Photo', which was released on April 18th this year and is his official debut single, reflects on the mortality of one’s emotions while dwelling on the memories brought up by an old photo.
'Photo' deals with the tough thoughts that come with reminiscing on what was and what could have been, by speaking on only a few of the thousand words that a picture is worth. In the song he delivers his point of view with ambidextrous cadences over an enticing afro-beat produced by Ransom Beats and engineered by Ozone Sound Labs. Highlighting his experiences in a colorful story he teams up with fellow Ozone Creations member Obi Original to juggle the plot for its twists and turns that make the body do the same.
