CASSETTE TAPES

R3HAB X WINONA OAK


R3HAB released his soulful, sultry dance-pop anthem 'Thinking About You' with Winona Oak on July 17th.


The track follows in the sonic footsteps of his recent releases with a more melodic and groovy style. Winona Oak's soulful vocals open the track with minimal background production, setting a sultry stage for the rest of the journey. R3HAB weaves in groovy melodies and a gently undulating bassline for the drop, achieving a deep but uplifting sound. With its dreamy-but-danceable sound and Oak's impressive vocals, 'Thinking About You' holds strong radio appeal to fans of dance and pop music alike. 

Over the last eight years, the Dutch/Moroccan artist Fadil El Ghoul - better known as R3HAB - has established himself as a leader at the forefront of modern electronic music.


Winona Oak is best known for her collaborations with What So Not and The Chainsmokers for the songs 'Beautiful' and 'Hope', and has recently worked with Robin Schulz on their single 'Oxygen'. "Thinking About You" follows R3HAB's recent pop releases 'Miss U More Than U Know' with Sofia Carson and 'Besame (I Need You)' with TINI and Reik.

Platinum certified hitmakers Going Deeper dropped their new single ‘Lights Out’ on July 10th via PARADIGM, making their debut on the label.


Their previous releases 'Far From Home', 'Till The End', 'Broken' have been streamed over 30 million times. Going Deeper have also gained huge popularity with remixes for artists like R3HAB, LP, british pop stars Years & Years and famous electronic artists Cash Cash.

In just a few years, they managed to be on the first position of the iTunes & Shazam Russia charts and work with such giants of the music industry as: Universal, Warner Music, Sony, and also with the best modern electronic dance labels - Hexagon (Dob Diablo), Armada, Spinnin, Heldeep and Dim Mak.

OLIVER WATKINS Oliver Watkins released his debut single '2AM' which is a song about being in denial of lingering feelings after a relationship ends.

Oliver Watkins is an 18 year old songwriter/producer from Olympia, WA who makes 100% of his music by himself - including writing, producing and mixing.

DYLAN REED

Dylan Reed released his new track 'Space' on July 16th. The video was filmed in Toronto, Canada.

Dylan Reed is a musician from Toronto, Ontario. Dylan wrote, composed and recorded his first EP, 'Growing', over the span of a few months. Its songs give the listener a glimpse of his formative years.


Inspired by Rex Orange County, Mac Miller and others, the EP's melodies are sweet and optimistic, yet tinged with a sense of realism. The EP was recorded entirely in Dylan's house, with the help of his unwaveringly patient and talented roommate Jordan Rapps.

JALLE


Brand new British artist, Jalle​ released his debut single ‘Pick Me Up’​ which premiered on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show. ‘Pick Me Up’ is an anthem record that demonstrates Jalle’s skill as a songwriter, establishing him as an alt pop powerhouse to be reckoned with.


Produced by British duo, The Nocturns, ‘Pick Me Up’ speaks on a relationship between two lost souls destined for a bad ending.

Growing up in Nottingham wasn't easy for Jalle and he credits music with helping him through a tumultuous period in his life. He found a haven in the city’s Community Recording Studios, where he learned to make music and took on a role as an engineer. The local live scene also helped hone his style, with Jalle becoming a regular fixture on the open mic scene, road testing his songs in front of a live audience. In this short period of time Jalle, has developed a whole musical world filled with his own stories and those of the people closest to him.

At just 18 Jalle is poised to make his mark on the industry that he credits with saving him, starting with ‘Pick Me Up’; an unquestionable future classic.
