Kiesza | Love Me With Your Lie

Updated: Jun 24

Kiesza has released her new single 'Love Me With Your Lie' from her forthcoming album 'Crave' which is set for release on August 14th via her own label, Zebra Spirit Tribe.

Produced by Toronto producer Bobby Love, ‘Love Me With Your Lie’ is an uplifting offering, drawing on a range of 80s influences and showcasing Kiesza’s adept skill as a songwriter – which has seen the likes of Duran Duran, Jennifer Lopez, Gorgon City, Rihanna and Kylie Minogue enlist her to write for them.

Kiesza says;

"This album is intended to lift you up. It’s there to give you a second wind and boost your spirit. I wanted it to be positive, for you and for me, as I know a lot of us need that right now. I’ve been on that same rollercoaster that you almost certainly have for the past five years. It’s best to think of this album as that beautiful sunlit tip of the iceberg, while I slowly begin to take you beneath the surface."

Since the release of her 2014 chart topping smash ‘Hideaway’ and 1 million + selling debut album, Sound Of A Woman which saw her top charts globally, Kiesza was forced to take a hiatus due to two life-changing experiences.

Shortly after losing her close friend to cancer, in 2017 Kiesza experienced a traumatic car crash, sustaining a head injury which doctors at the time said would render her incapable of writing/ recording music, performing live and potentially walking ever again. Despite the doctor’s initial prognosis, Kiesza recovered within two years, and is now set to release her long-awaited second album on the 14th August 2020.

Kiesza is firmly back in business as an independent musician fully emerging as an artist reborn. Kiesza 2.0 is poised and ready to re-take the global stage with her own unique brand of pop music.
