London based pop band, LAWRN have released the first single 'Like Forever' from their upcoming second EP.
"We wanted to make something really dreamy that could be the
soundtrack to your summer".
The song itself is about the breakdown of a relationship but it's set over a big summer pop track. The verse outlines the problems with the relationship but longs for summer before then the chorus explodes and hopes that everything will be ok.
The band said:
"We wanted to make a song that you could lose yourself in and listen to driving or at the beach".
The track is heavily influenced by 80's pop with the washy synths, big, powerful choruses and dreamy vocals, proving exactly what the band are capable of.
The upcoming EP follows the release of their debut EP 'Pretty Things' which was released last year and is set to be a hit with fans of the likes of LANY, Lauv & The 1975. Stay tuned for the soundtrack of your summer.
