Social media sensations Max & Harvey have returned with their brand new single 'Lonely' via Frtyfve Records.
The track comes hot on the heels of last months release 'In My DNA' and gives us a heavier, almost rock style sound from the boys - something that we haven't yet heard before. With catchy drum beats and slick guitar, 'Lonely' is decidedly more uptempo, injecting a hint of pop-rock whilst showcasing their infectious vocals. As a whole, 'Lonely' proves to the world that Max & Harvey aren't trying to conform with what you's expect from your typical X-Factor pop stars.
They said on the track,
“We’re massively proud of Lonely. Making the song was an eye-opening experience for us, as it helped us discover what we want our music to sound like. We wrote it about having commitment issues, as especially with our career over the last five years, we’ve struggled to maintain any real relationships. This song was our way of communicating that, as we know we’re not the only ones...”
Over the last 12 months, Max & Harvey have been able to properly focus on music - something they haven't had the chance to do since appearing on Celebrity X Factor in late 2019. August 2021 will see the return of their live shows, hitting 10 cities across the UK.
