moanday | Blue Ceiling

Madrid-based indie funk duo moanday drop the visuals for debut single 'Blue Ceiling'.

Fuelled by groove infused, plucky guitar licks, glistening synths and disco flavoured beats, 'Blue Ceiling' is a funk-fuelled indie pop masterpiece ladened with an infectious retro inspired soundscape which oozes a cool edge and brims with nostalgia. Soft and melodic vocals captivate the listener from the first note with an ear worm bass line to match.

The long awaited visuals are directed by Larry Balboa and capture the essence of the track perfectly, featuring the duo taking a joy-ride in a vintage 70’s Ford through the spanish countryside in style while performing the number.

Making a considerable splash with debut singles, 'Blue Ceiling' and 'Tell me', moanday are fresh faces on the music scene but are already gaining buzz, garnering over a million streams across DSP's and landing multiple Spotify playlist placements. Their upward trajectory is only set to rise in the coming months.
