‘Like You' is the brand new release from Merseyside 4-piece indie-pop outfit More In Luv, following on from their previous single 'Someone Else'.
Adding another slice of shimmering indie pop to their discography, More In Luv have created the perfect sing-along anthem with 'Like You', arriving just in time for summer. Featuring punchy melodies, dangerously hooky guitars, rhythmic drum beats and euphoric synths amongst playful lyricism, stellar vocals and dial tone samples, the track is effortlessly pleasing and indulgent to get you into the ultimate feel-good mood. Conceptually, 'Like You' follows on from their previous release written as a tongue in cheek dig to move on from the situation that ‘Someone Else’ was about.
Taking their inspiration from indie pop pioneers such as The 1975, Years And Years, Larkins and Fickle Friends, the band are carving a firm imprint in their local music scene. After releasing their debut single in summer of 2020, followed by 'Local Celebrities' EP in Autumn, the buzz around the band continues to rise with their fast-growing fanbase across the North West and beyond. You can catch the band live at their headline gig at Jimmy's in Liverpool on July 23rd as well as RivFest Weekender in Warrington on August 7th.
