Talented musical production Swedish duo NOTD - comprising of members Samuel Brandt and Tobias Danielsson - have unveiled their upbeat and catchy new single, 'I Don't Know Why,' which features Norwegian singer and song-writer Astrid S.
'I Don't Know Why' is the perfect summer anthem and follows on from the success of previous releases from NOTD, including 'So Close' and 'I Miss Myself,' with their singles featuring a range of musicians, including Bea Miller and HRVY.
With exceptional production that captures NOTD's electronic music sound and Astrid S providing excellent vocals, it is definitely a track that can be turned up loud!
Both NOTD and Astrid S compliment each other well throughout this track, with each of their respective talents working well together. Here at The Lowdown, we absolutely love this new release!
NOTD was formed when the two members met on streaming platform SoundCloud, prior to attending the same high school.
Over the past couple of years, NOTD have racked up over one billion streams from their own music and an excess of 150 million streams remixing tracks released by high-profile artists, including Years & Years, Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes and Rihanna.
The release of 'I Don't Know Why' kick-starts a host of releases for NOTD in the upcoming months. In a short video released on their Instagram, there appears to be a new single released in July, September and November. With 'I Don't Know Why' being their first release of 2020, we're already excited to hear even more from them in the coming months.
