After a three year hiatus, nomadically travelling through three countries whilst battling a chronic illness, Nova Hall is triumphantly back with her three track EP entitled 'Life In Slow Motion', released via Indigo Noise.
Previous release 'Collateral' hinted at a more modern pop sound for the artist, evolving towards a grungier sonic landscape. The EP shows a culmination of that evolution. 'Life In Slow Motion' is a dystopian female led post-rock tinted offering with glimmers of hope.
Atmospheric guitars take turns dancing over distorted rhythms, with a sprinkle of warm electronica that linger and create Nova’s unique sound.
“These tracks were first conceived a few years ago, but the old me wasn’t ready to release them. After everything that’s happened the last few years, I finally feel confident in who I am as an artist."
'Life In Slow Motion' is out now.
