Olivia Duke has released her track 'distraction' taken from her EP 'bound to end' following support from New Music Friday on Spotify and BBC Introducing plays.
The track features catchy lyrics sang with a dreamy, pure vocal. Electro-pop effects are soft and melodic, swirling through the vocals to create atmosphere and a quirky rhythm. Captivating acoustics are gently placed within delicate synths delivering an easy listening and fresh sound from the upcoming star.
'distraction' is the admission of knowing you are not designed to be with someone, however, asking them to distract you from the world of loneliness that you are facing. The song journeys through these lonely feelings of knowing that you're second best but in need of feeling loved.
Olivia Duke started her professional music journey less than a year ago and featured on BBC Introducing and top Spotify playlists within the first few months of launching.
'distraction' is out now.
