Passenger | Songs for the Drunk and Broken Hearted

Hailing from Brighton, Mike Rosenberg, better known as his artist moniker - multi-award winning, platinum-selling singer-songwriter Passenger, has released his new studio album 'Songs for the Drunk and Broken Hearted featuring the track that inspired the album title 'A Song for the Drunk and Broken Hearted', accompanied by the music video for the track.

The track is instantly recognisable by Passenger's unique vocal and distinctive style. With meaningful lyricism that tells a story that makes you want to listen, the track is professional, perfected and beautifully produced. It touches your heart whilst still having a catchy beat and melodic guitar. About as close to a masterpiece as you can get.

The majority of 'Songs for the Drunk and Broken Hearted' was written when Passenger was newly single. He reflects,

“Coming out of a break-up creates such a fragile window. You’re incredibly vulnerable for a few months. You’re so used to the safety of being with somebody and suddenly you’re out in the world on your own. And you get pissed and probably make some bad decisions. In some ways, you make it worse for yourself. But it’s a heady moment, losing love and being drunk. And it’s universal. Everyone goes through it at some stage.”

The music video for the track sees Passenger and his bandmates dressed as downhearted clowns playing to a room of the drunk and broken hearted.

With an authentic and engaging live show that has won over fans and critics all over the globe, he looks forward to returning to the road for busking, festivals and headline shows that were unfortunately postponed until it is safe.

All physical packaging of CD's and Vinyl are made of 100% recycled material and one tree is planted for every physical piece sold via the Passenger webstore, thanks to a partnership with Ecologi and the Eden Project.

Hailing from Brighton, Passenger is a multi-award winning, platinum-selling singer / songwriter. Although still known for busking, he made the journey from the street corners to stadiums, thanks in part to supporting his friend Ed Sheeran on tour and with his hit single 'Let Her Go', which reached number 1 in 19 countries and 3 billion plays on YouTube.

'Songs for the Drunk and Broken Hearted' is out now.
