'Film Grain' is the recent single from Psychic Agency, who hail from Philadelphia. The band is led by 21 year old singer / songwriter and producer Alex Fichera.
The track is a funky banger, which utilises elements of jazz and R&B to create a modern fusion of different sounds with a synthy bass line. The unique outcome is a fresh and feel good track with an awesome beat and crisp, yet soft vocals. Really easy listening and something totally new added to the table.
With more tracks to follow in the coming months, it's pretty easy to say that Psychic Agency will be on the rise sooner rather than later - his DIY sound oozes a clever technique and perfectly polished vibe, cementing him as a true contender. We can't wait for more...
