Welcome to a brand new section where alongside our monthly favourites playlist, we let you know our favourite releases of the last week.
First up comes a mid-week release; The 1975 with 'Guys'. The band are gearing up to release their fourth album 'Notes On A Conditional Form' on May 22nd and we are for sure in for a treat with this one!
Another mid-week release comes from Romeo Romeo, who have come back with a new identity after taking some years out. '7 Years' marks their debut release and also happens to be released 7 years after their first EP.
Another of our favourites from this week comes from The Jonas Brothers. They have shared a duo of tracks this week, 'Five More Minutes' and 'X (with latin musician KAROL G)'. Both different in style but just what we needed to brighten up our days stuck inside...
Another track that deserves a mention comes from Singer / Songwriter Hugo Valentine. Fifth single in and taking the rather tumultuous 2020 well within his stride, he has us completely captivated and utterly spellbound once again with his newest, intuitive and deeply stirring new single ‘My Friend’. An emotionally flooded tribute, it is sung with the utmost care and grace. A beacon of light, this sophisticatedly sensitive song leaves the listener feeling lifted and filled with hope. Hugo’s music and instigative persona is exactly what is needed to raise, rejuvenate and revitalise our spirits during this difficult time.
Melisa has also released her new track 'Loser For Love' this week. The talented artist based in Nashville is studying music business at University and she says that the track has a kind of dark pop sound.
Last but certainly not least on our Release Radar this week is Lany with 'Good Guys'. This is the first track from the trio's upcoming third album 'Mama's Boy' which we can expect later this year!
Make sure to follow us on Spotify to be the first to hear our tracks of the week, which include all of these and more from the month of May!
