Another set of amazing tracks have graced our ears this week... here's what we've found!
WILL NEWMAN
'Make Believe' is the 3rd single of 2020 for Will Newman featuring an infectious chorus, catchy lyrics and a beautiful synth-pop haze, just in time for the summer.
Guitarist and multi-instrumentalist from UK. Merging indie, dreampop, acoustic, pop and folk vibes into new and interesting sounds. Going Global! Taking influence from the likes of John Mayer, LANY, Lauv, and The 1975 to name a few, Will likes to write in a range of genres including indie, dreampop, pop, acoustic, soul and shoegaze, but his fans often communicate that his tracks are 'chilled' and 'good vibes'.
Will Newman is really gaining some traction now as a singer-songwriter, but more importantly as a multi-instrumentalist who takes big inspiration from his influences. Will's debut album Sand hit #32 when it debuted in the iTunes UK singer-songwriter charts, and has had a great reception with tracks like 'Bite My Lip'. Will is firmly marking his name as one that is hard to put into a genre, but instead one that stands exceptionally on its own with his own sound amongst his wide range of influences.

LIMÓN LIMÓN
LA based duo composed of Jason and Rand, Limón Limón are back with a new single ‘Barcelona Night’, recalling memories of days spent wandering a vibrant city by the sea. The salt air drifts over the cobblestone streets, while the waves break along the beach at midnight.
Breezy guitars pair with tropical keys for a summertime vibe, guided by lyrics evoking vivid moments of exploration and evenings spent by the shores of the Mediterranean.
Future Indie duo Limón Limón seamlessly fuses the past and the future, the left and the right, the up and the down. Their captivating sound weaves together the expressive and unique feelings of live instruments with inventive lyrics, and layered vintage and digital synths.
Limón Limón establishes a fresh perspective on feel good west coast music in it’s finest form.

VANDALYE
Also this week Vandalye have released their single 'Blame The Record'. A synth movement that highlights anxiety and depression on a day to day basis. With the music constantly building reaching a final big scream as a release of all the tension and frustration that one might feel.
Formed in Dubai consisting of identical twins Lucas and Thomas McCone and lead singer Scott Attew, Vandalye have seen a quick rise in their music career. After being the opening acts for music giants like Sir Elton John and Lionel Richie, Vandalye released their debut album Cigarettes & Minarets in February 2020.
Despite hitting several Spotify Editorials with their first album 'Vandalye' have decided to go for a bigger and heavier sound with their upcoming EP. With Lucas composing music for feature films on the side he wants to incorporate film music to Vandalye's sound with big synths and ambient guitars.

ALEX FREW
You may have never heard of Alex Frew, but if it was up to him, I’m sure he would like to keep it that way. For Alex, the music speaks first and foremost; and his debut single 'Get Out Alive' is loud and clear.
The Canadian songwriter sings of love lost, navigating his social anxiety and wondering if he’ll ever be the same again, or even alive to see another day. This theme is juxtaposed with his soothing vocals that may make you fall in love with the young crooner; a happy ending after all. 'Get Out Alive' marks the first release of many.

D.B. RICAPITO
D.B Ricapito's new single 'Pictures' is co-written by frequent collaborator AIRE. His upcoming debut EP features more production from Digital Farm Animals and JConn.
"Sometimes my team & I collaborate on songs that are a combination of life experiences from all of us, but this time was different. Picture is personal to me, which is probably why I love it so much. I just hope everyone feels it the way I did when I recorded it.”
D.B. Ricapto sonically pulls from pop and recent mainstream luminaries like Why Don't We, Jack & Jack, and Alec Benjamin, while charting a path forward towards the heights of Justin Bieber, Zayn, and Shawn Mendes.

EMILY O'NEAL
'Catch Feelings' is the energetic second single by pop artist Emily O'Neal. It's an 80's inspired feel-good track that is perfect for summer, produced by Dexter Redding, son of Otis Redding.
The song is about being afraid to fall in love because you've been hurt in the past, but taking a leap of faith anyways.
“To make people feel less alone in the world”
That is 18-year-old Emily O’Neal’s goal with her music. Her safe place is at her piano writing catchy hooks and sincere lyrics that relate to others through honest experiences.
As an introvert, Emily often had trouble expressing her emotions, but she found her outlet through songwriting. Her original studio-version songs feature shimmering pop vocals over rhythmic, edgy instrumentation, while her live shows include stripped down, acoustic versions along with her favorite cover songs.

LOGAN PRESCOTT
Dallas-based Indie Pop artist Logan Prescott returns with his love-crush anthem 'Love Again...'
Prescott yearns for new love while being crushed by the despairs of loneliness and doubt, taken aback by dreamy synths and thoughtful piano soundscapes. The track will be loved by fans of The 1975, LANY, and COIN.

ALEC CHAMBERS
Pop singer/songwriter Alec Chambers has released his new single 'Something to Cry About'.
The track pairs his smooth vocals and tasteful rasp with an ethereal pop beat, resonating with fans of Halsey, Lewis Capaldi, and Alec Benjamin.
''Something to Cry About' is about wanting to feel something, anything from a specific person when they won't give you the same thing back."

ELLA ISAACSON X GALLANT
R3HAB has remixed Ella Isaacson x Gallant's new single 'Expectations'.
Ella Isaacson says on the track:
"When I started thinking about the concept of expectations - of myself, my life, my career, my family, I just started to write pages and pages of lyrics and poetry. I wanted to tell a story about coming out as who you are and how sometimes in life you start on a path or a direction and suddenly things change. You change or unlock who you really are in ways you didn't even expect. We try on a shoe, that just doesn't fit no matter how much we wanted it to."

LINCOLN JESSER
Last but certainly not least is the new single from California-based artist-producer Lincoln Jesser. 'Boba' is a sunny, funky feel-good anthem that celebrates the power of love in the face of uncertainty atop happy guitar riffs and thick synth bass lines.
Lincoln first gained acclaim with a flurry of high-energy, Hype Machine chart-topping indie electronic releases in 2014-2015 which culminated in his debut album 'Modern Color'. He went on to move into the dance world via a partnership with European dance label Spinnin' Deep where he released collaborations like 'Baby Boy' and the 'Casa Mirage EP', while also being contracted to craft official remixes for heavy hitters like G-Eazy, Gwen Stefani, and Tori Kelly.
Earlier this year marked a return to Lincoln's more organic, vulnerable sound with the stripped-back single 'Broken'.
Now, 'Boba' sees Lincoln unabashedly stepping back into his role as summer smash alchemist.
