GLOOMS
Glooms released his new single 'Holding Up' this week.
"I wrote this song about watching someone who you love start to fall out of love with you. The process of beginning to feel isolated and ignored and the emotions that one feels watching a relationship fade out."
After releasing a plethora of music last year, Glooms took some time to redefine who he is as an artist. After a quiet but intense start to the year, polishing his craft and creating a sound for the artist he truly wanted to be, he has made his return.

BECOMING YOUNG
Nashville-based pop artist Becoming Young, aka Brandon Calano, has just released new single 'Reckless' - the fifth single off his latest album, 'Feeling Single'. The song’s dreamy atmosphere and upbeat, summer vibe evoke a supernova of summer bliss.
“From the moment I wrote the drop, it just hit different. This song came from something real- ‘Reckless’ is about falling for someone, despite hesitation. It’s about feeling vulnerable and taking a chance.”
For those not familiar with Brandon Calano, he writes and records under the pseudonym, Becoming Young. It’s a name he says embodies his journey to let go of everything he is not—and become who he was meant to be all along.
Becoming Young’s forthcoming album, 'Feeling Single', explores the modern dating landscape as told by an emotionally-reckless millennial. 'Reckless' will be Becoming Young’s fourth release of 2020, following trap-pop banger, 'High', bouncy summer bop, 'The Night I Met You', and the sultry, 'Cherry Twist'.

MATT MCWATERS
Canadian artist Matt McWaters shares the first of a string of singles to be released this year with 'Bad Habits'. This is his first release since working with Ta-ku on their collaborative 'Please Wait' EP.
“It's about learning to deal with my own anxieties and not letting them dictate the way I behave in my personal life and relationships.”
Having picked up music at a young age, McWaters has spent years cultivating his production knowledge and music theory to create music inspired by his eclectic taste. This led to traveling around Canada to create music and brought him the opportunity to write with Australian producer Ta-ku.
The collaboration culminated in producing tracks for Masego, Alayna and his long-time friend kerri for their EP and over 5 million streams for their debut.
SLIDE
After the success of their breakthrough debut EP ‘Into Happiness’ last year, Swedish alt-pop outfit Slide now return with their highly anticipated follow-up 'Things I Tell Myself’ through If Music Could Talk.
Featuring the previously unveiled offerings ‘Keep Shining’,‘Waiting’ and ‘Hello Spirit’, alongside the newly unveiled lead single ‘Maybe I Just Hate You’ and unheard cut ‘Pool Water’, the pair look to take their bold and dynamic sound, which many have compared to the likes of BROCKHAMPTON, Dominic Fike and Post Malone, to the next level with this diverse and adventurous collection.
Accompanied by a set of videos shot in Los Angeles, the band’s latest EP is just the start of a bold new era. With fans already clamouring for new music on their social media channels, the duo trust that they recognise the band not just for their rock songs, but for harbouring the outspoken attitude too. Work on the next EP is well underway, and they’re keen to keep honing their craft.
