Saint Raymond | Right Way Round

Saint Raymond is back with his brand new single ‘Right Way Round’. The track previews his forthcoming second album, which will be released next year via a new deal with Cooking Vinyl.

Saint Raymond has spent the past two years writing constantly, honing ideas in the studio and is excited to finally be able to share his new tracks with his fans. He’s also looking forward to being able to play live again in the future.

Saint Raymond, real name Callum Burrows, originates from Nottingham. His breakthrough came when he was a teenager, when his independent debut EP ‘Escapade’ hit #3 at iTunes. Scaling up through subsequent releases, Saint Raymond’s growing status was confirmed with the release of his debut album ‘Young Blood’ which propelled the young artist to attention and fired into the album charts at Number 8.

His subsequent EP's continued to accumulate millions more streams as well as further support at Radio 1 meanwhile touring highlights included three consecutive sold out shows at the Scala, shows as guest to Lewis Capaldi, Ed Sheeran and Haim, plus landmark festival sets at Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds.

‘Right Way Round’ is a big synth, indie-pop anthem which also demonstrates the evolution in Saint Raymond’s sound. That stylistic progression is equally matched by the song’s lyrics, which explore a tangled state-of-mind. In essence: are those of us who are anxious, self-doubting or feel like outsiders simply reacting to the world around us as best we can?

Or as Saint Raymond sings:

"We’re not losing all control, we’re just learning how to float.”
