Having only released his debut single less than a year ago in March 2020, St. Lundi has already made incredible progress, not only releasing his debut EP, 'Heavy Words', but collaborating with Norwegian streaming mega-stars - Kygo & Seeb.
His latest release is the acoustic rework of his original track 'To Die For' where the original composition was created by Kygo and Dermot Kennedy - Dermot writing the lyrics and then deciding to use them for another project. Left with the stripped back production, Kygo reached out to St. Lundi to write a completely new concept.
'To Die For' was written over the course of a weekend, and ended up being a last minute addition to Kygo's billboard charting album 'Golden Hour'. After the initial release, St. Lundi went back into the studio to arrange the stunning acoustic rework.
An artist with a core talent for writing love songs, St. Lundi's voice has the ability to immediately strike a chord with fans who have compared him to Coldplay's Chris Martin. His debut EP has been streamed in excess of 2 million times and with collaborations added, he is now approaching 15 million streams in total across all DPS.
St. Lundi is now working on his second EP, due for release later this year, produced by End Holloway and Nick Atkinson, who have recently worked with the likes of Lewis Capaldi, Dean Lewis and Gabrielle Aplin.
'To Die For' (Acoustic Rework) is out now.
