Artist and producer Superlate has teamed up with Immi Dash for new single 'Diamonds'.
The dynamic single is the first of many energy-filled tracks set for release from Superlate in 2021. 'Diamonds' crosses style boundaries with a genre-binding sound which fuses feel good melodic pop hooks with elements of disco and electronics to create an uplifting, sunny but mellow groove perfect for the summer months of 2021 and the freedom that we will hopefully soon experience. It's modern but yet somehow radiates a strong sense of nostalgia, both catchy and playful with dreamy vocals provided by Immi.
Reflecting on the process, Superlate says that,
"working with Immi is always a pleasure with constant laughs and vocals that 'never cease to amaze' she has a ‘bright future’ ahead of her."
Having supported mainstream acts such as Tom Walker in previous solo projects, Superlate is no stranger to the ingredients of a pop song. Immediately upon submission, Diamonds was made 'upload of the week' by BBC Introducing Merseyside and Jack Saunders of Radio 1 branding it "a special track".
Superlate thrives in creating a world of nightlife inspired sounds. Bread in the seaside paradise of Cornwall and now based in Liverpool, listeners are delivered sun-drenched melodies with urban rhythms that ring true to his roots, making his beachside upbringing unmissable in his work.
