Amazon Music & BBC Introducing's 'Artist to Watch', fast rising Irish singer / songwriter Tadhg Daly has prescribed a dose of escapism with his latest single 'Winter in LA', his first single of 2022 via Silent Kid Records.
Following up on last year's critically acclaimed EP 'Forever Young', 'Winter in LA' truly showcases Tadhg's talent, not only vocally but as an incredible songwriter. Rich tones are scattered throughout the instrumentation which takes on a cool and uplifting indie-pop sound, both jovial full of euphoria. His deep and warming vocals have the ability to mesmerize his audience in just a moment, taking the lead in for sure his most impressive and intimate release to date.
Speaking about the new single, Tadhg says,
“I’ve struggled with depression and anxiety ever since I was about 14 and always find myself looking for an escape from my current reality. Winter in LA is about the intense urge I feel constantly to drop everything I own and everyone I know and start fresh somewhere new. I guess in writing and singing this song I’m trying to figure out whether the grass is any greener elsewhere".
Since the release of Tadhg's previous EP, he has garnered endless amounts of support from media outlets as well as Spotify and Amazon Music. With his upcoming EP set for Summer 2022 he is set to build on his upward trajectory at a rapid pace.
