Ulrik Munther has released his new single 'Stay Awake', arriving alongside his new album 'Put Your Self Out There', his most honest and thought-provoking work of his career so far.
'Stay Awake' starts off soft with intricate instrumentation consisting off refined acoustics and slick drum beats and builds into a euphoric but somewhat still intimate masterpiece with a lush gospel inspired soundscape. Ulrik delivers a captivating raw vocal performance which is both emotive and passionate with harmonious energy flowing throughout, his honest and expressive lyricism shining right through yet again - an effortlessly good gentle indie-pop hit to add to his striking collection.
At just 27 years old, Ulrik Munther is already a seasoned artist with years of industry experience behind him. He was singed as a teenager to Universal Music in Sweden after winning the prestigious Melody Grand Prix Nordic competition with an original song, he also achieved viral fame with his endearing cover of Lady Gaga’s 'Born This Way'. Three albums followed, all charting in the top give of his home country.
Fans of his old music would have trouble recognising him now. 'Put Your Self Out There' is an astounding 14-track piece of work which shows a young man grown wise from experience, but still deeply curious about the world. Ulrik has a philosophical mind. He thrives on ideas, and on a willingness to challenge and be challenged on important subjects. This music shows him standing on the edge, ready to set sail on a new adventure.
'Put Your Self Out There' is out now.
