Worlds First Cinema | Supernatural

Fast-rising duo World's First Cinema have returned with their bold and explosive new offering 'Supernatural', following their previous release 'Make Me A Monster', via B-Unique Records.

'Supernatural' follows hot on the heels of the dark and eerie 'Make Me A Monster', both fusing bedroom pop elements with strong rock-infused beats and vibrant electronica to create their signature narrative-driven aesthetic. 'Supernatural' continues the tone of a far darker chapter in their legacy - climatic in places and more melodic in others, the track features a quirky beat and intricate guitar, with a sudden burst into a euphoric and pummelling chorus.

Speaking about the new single, they said,

"'Supernatural' is a nod to the cinematic roots where this project first began. We feel that we've grown so much since we released our debut EP and we feel our music is reflecting that. Our songs will always have a cinematic element but 'Supernatural' really revives the overtly epic tones of our first EP. We wanted this track to be a sign to our fans to always expect those sonics from us as we explore different styles in our writing."

'Make Me A Monster' has the same signature genre-binding sound, boasting both vocal and production skills of the duo. With a gritty rock undertone, the track is totally captivating, full of power with a heavy-duty funk powered groove and full throttle energy.

They said,

"Make Me A Monster is the beginning of a dark new chapter of World’s First Cinema. It’s the first intimate look into this epic fantasy world that we’re building, brick by brick. The video especially highlights this - witches, druids and monsters coming to life amidst the explosion of strings and cinematic rock is exactly the sort of ritual we pictured our minds."

Both ‘Make Me A Monster’ and ‘Supernatural’ follow on from the the huge support for their recently released debut EP ‘Rituals’, and follow-up single ‘The Woods’, which has since received airplay on BBC Radio 2 and found itself placed on Spotify playlists Pop Rock Shot, Future Hits, New Noise, and Rock The World!, as well as Apple Music’s New in Alternative, New in Rock, New Music Daily and New In Pop. They’ve already amassed over 8 million streams in as many months.
